I read this book a long time ago and could remember bits and pieces so the tension was not really there, but I am always surprised by how much you forget Again the abuse of children is a topic discussed in this book, and in this particular one it was really heartbreaking.
The book does have chapters on the murderer and I was intrigued by the way the author managed to keep hidden where they are. As you have the feeling this person must be close to Mia and Reed but I could not put my finger on it. I love to puzzle along but this book did have a surprise ending. Not really someone I would have guessed from early in the book.
