Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir

5.0

I'm escaping to the to the one place that hasn't been corrupted by by heterosexuality. SPACE!

Amazing and comedic butch lead which is rare to see in lesbian fiction. Super spooky murder mystery with skeletons and monsters.

I really grew to feel for both Gideon and Harrow and all their guilt and angst about their past. They're both melodramatic teens in their own way but it serves a purpose in developing their relationship and furthering the plot. The names and titles of characters were a bit hard to get around but it got easier through the story.

Being starved for lead characters that look like me, Gideon has sort of become one of my fitness goals as a fellow butch.
