Worth the Risk by K. Bromberg
4.0
Worth the Risk is a sweet, sexy, heartwarming enemies to lovers romance with all the feels. I've wanted this book from the very beginning of this series. I mean c'mon. A swoony single dad who is hot enough to be included in a Hot Dad competition and he also happens to be a rescue pilot...yes, please!! I was not disappointed. Worth the Risk is a good example of why K. Bromberg is one of go to authors. I absolutely LOVED the narration. As always Zachary Webber and Grace Grant are magnificent at bringing the characters to life. It's definitely worth a listen.
The characters in Worth the Risk were great (especially sweet little Luke). The connection between Sidney and Grayson was electric. Even when they fought you could tell that there was a spark. The back and forth push and pull between them was just so good. K. Bromberg did a great job of building the tension.
One negative for me however was regarding Grayson. I loved him, loved how much he care for his little boy. But...there were times that he frustrated me. I understand that he was hurt by a heartless person but some of the ways he dealt with his feelings annoyed the heck out of me. I could have done with a little less of his indecisiveness. That being said, none of this kept me from wanting more of the story.
I highly recommend this book - this series. I can't get enough of those Malone men!!
