I love Jay Crownover, and I love her books. I have read everything she has written, and this book has done me in. Like done, done. There will be no epic love stories that could compare to this book. From the first page Jay has you riveted, and swooning. Hudson Wheeler is pure love, good lord almighty, I seriously cannot get over him. He is the epic kind of man, kind, loving, shaped by his horrid childhood. He shows Poppy what it is to be loved. I loved the progression of their story, and it was not a wham bam, they are over their issues. Poppy is the perfect match for Wheeler. On paper, you wouldn't think so; how can two obviously so emotionally bankrupt people love each other? Well you have to read the book to find out, cause I ain't tellin. Magnificent writing, and the perfect end to these two series.
