Corrupt by Penelope Douglas

5.0

What. Can. I. Say. About. This. Book?
It was daring. It was dark. It was gut-clenching. It was heart-wrenching. It was love. It was hate. It was everything. Expressed in every way that you wouldn't expect. And frankly, the irony that thousands of words render me without any of my own is just... beautiful and the same time, it's a blessing and a curse because my mind is bursting with everything I want to say! This book speaks. It really does. I don't know how it's possible to bring characters to life like this, but when it does happen, you can't do anything but let their lives take over yours.

You can't do anything but let them corrupt you.

Penelope Douglas, woman, you have ruined me for all others. No joke.
Five stars. Highly recommend.

It's not for everyone. You like dark shit? Disturbing shit? Are you strong enough to handle it?
If you are. Own it. (See what I did there?)

Don't read if you're looking for a light hearted romance. Read if you're looking for raw love, poisonous betrayal and succumbing to dark feelings and truth that's going to slap you in the face.
