The Left-Handed Booksellers of London by Garth Nix

3.0

It was...good. And interesting. And had some likable characters. And some cool but underdeveloped world-building. I had a good time with it. But when I got to the end, I just didn't want to go picking up the next one. Maybe I will someday, but not today. I also thought the whole 'gods as objects' and such needed a little more exploration, as did the betrayals that happened along the way. I did like the main character's 'what am I even doing here' energy through most of the beginning but got a little bored of her once her powers awakened. A decent series, maybe it's just a little young for me these days?
