Extremely slow start
A slow torturing start. I hated it as I was reading it. Ellie was so annoying and the dynamic between her and Dublin was chafing. But once you get to a point in the book, I’m not sure if there was a better way to go about it. The annoying self doubt and weakness made sense. And once you are past that, which was about 80% through the book, it picked up and started to get good.
Maybe the author could have condensed the whole annoying part and focused on the storyline of the last 20%. I would definitely give it 4stars if the beginning wasn’t so hard to get through.
