Captain America, Volume 2: Castaway In Dimension Z, Book Two by Dean White, Rachelle Rosenberg, Rick Remender, Scott Hanna, Tom Palmer, John Romita Jr., Klaus Jason

3.0

Still just as weird and warped as the first one, but now with more blood and sorrow; sets the stage for the major changes that would befall Cap in this new, adjusted Marvel Universe, and takes a really long time to unfold, like an opera or a Western. This will not be for everyone, but it does start a really interesting conversation about the relevance of the title character, which is worth having every couple of years.
