How to Understand Your Gender: A Practical Guide for Exploring Who You Are by Alex Iantaffi, Meg-John Barker

5.0

I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated this book. I felt like it had the detail that I wanted in the previous gender book I read. There were plenty of further resources suggested. And it really helped to explore my own position with gender. I shall definitely be passing onto friends so they can read into it.

I really appreciated the numerous reflection exercises throughout, as well as the breathing pages. Even though I often carried on reading it still allowed for a moment to ground myself and any emotions that were being brought up. As a counsellor, I really enjoyed this aspect of the book and think other books alike should adapt this.
