Sorry, no! If you want to use dialogue in a different language, please check it. Having a lover calling you m'hijo (which means my son, in a very familiar way) and then call him 'mi niƱo' which is a child, is too creepy to me. Add to that the whole thing with truly misused Spanish and sorry, but I can't deal with it.

Yep, totally a case of 'It's not the book, it's me' but this kicks two of my pet peeves right in the knees.
