Tell Me No Lies by Alex Sinclair

3.0

Told in two time lines Tell Me No Lies follows the story of a couple who is celebrating their 5th wedding anniversary. Half the story being told from the day of the anniversary and the other half being told from 6 weeks after.

While parts of the story are quite intriguing and gripping I did find the book could be quite repetitive at times repeating the same thing over and over. I know part of this was due to the main characters mental state but felt there may have been better ways to indicate her state.

The other thing that I found a little difficult with the book was despite the book being placed in Portland USA, it was obvious the Author was from Australia. Some of the language was clearly not American, such as calling the doctor's office a surgery.

That being said despite thinking I knew what what was happening throughout the book and it dragging a bit, I did find a few surprising twists at the end and was happy at the ending.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for an ARC in exchange for my honest opinions and review.
