Heartsong by TJ Klune

Holy shit.
And I mean that cause I said that out loud several times while reading this book.
I think that aside from Wolfsong (which will always be my favorite), this is my next favorite book in the Green Creek series. Ravensong was good but Gordo and Mark were just a tad bit too angsty for my taste. This one however not only advanced the story of the Bennett pack and their ongoing conflict with Robert Livingstone, but also delved more into the mind and history of Robbie who fast became a favorite character of mine even though he'd been a minor one until now. This book was jam packed with punches to the feels and action. I truly felt invested in all the events and at times was at the edge of my seat! Also, the plot of this one was interestingly laid out. At first I thought I was reading about the past and Robbie's time before joining the Bennett pack but then glimpses started happening of his time with them and I was so confused. But then everything started clearing up and that was the first of my "Oh SHIT" moments. Then I was totally invested. All in. No holds barred.
