Fallen, by Lauren Kate

5.0

Reading this book for the second time has not changed my feelings for it. No matter how many books I read, this is still one of the best books. It's actually one of the first YA books I've read after twilight and even before the hunger games. No matter how many books I read, no matter how many new subjects I come across; angels will always be something I can't read enough about. Something about them is just so interesting and it's a mysterious, appealing thing I can't quite explain.

A lot of people think this book is rubbish because Lauren Kate didn't do enough good research. But, and I say this out of experience because I've already read the others, if you continue this series you will see that she did at least a little bit of research, fascinating and interesting research. The way she describes the fall later on or the position of the Archangels, it's intriguing and I guess I'll be spending some time on the Internet to do some good old own research. I've always loved doing my own research after reading something random, from elemental power to healing chakra's, I'm a weird person - I know - it won't really stop me from doing the research I love to do. To learn more about something most people don't even take a second glance at, to learn more about something you don't really know anything about. Just to learn about something you're interested in.
