Clover has a temper and a rough go from the start from everyone leaving her and having to deal with her nasty ex. Madden has always been a protector and friend to Clover as well as to help whenever she needed it, especially since he was her brothers friend. After Clover leaves her nasty ex, she winds up at Maddens door and the rest of their story is a bit rocky and he tries to help her heal - in more ways then one.
