Reborn by Mark Millar

2.0

Some interesting concepts here and some stellar artwork, but overall the plot and character development is thin. Also, the dialogue is a little cringe at times. There’s a few deus ex machina moments that don’t feel earned, more like Millar wrote himself in a corner and just needed something to happen so the plot could keep rolling. I did really enjoy the idea of General Frost; he should have been the main villain. They could have dialed up the whimsy and ridiculousness of the fantasy world and I think that would have helped enhance the story.
