I didn’t love this book, but I didn’t hate it, either. I’m not usually a big mystery fan, but since this one had some intriguing sci-fi elements I decided to give it a go. I found myself confused a lot of the time, even when things started to come together. The characters are what saved this for me- they were unique and interesting, and I want to know more about a lot of them. Overall, it was a semi-successful step outside of my comfort zone. I don’t know that I’ll be going back anytime soon, but it was far from unreadable.
