Reread Review:
Loved it even more the second time! I’d planned on rereading this before I got the ARC for its sequel, but I was so excited I could not wait to dive in. There’s so much foreshadowing and little things I missed the first time reading this. Things I’m honestly surprised I missed the first time!! Rereading this book was a real treat and I’m even more excited now to dive back into its sequel again.

Goodness, where do I begin?? My mind is still reeling from that ending! I will start by giving thanks to the author for gifting me an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This story was unlike any other fae series I’ve ever read and I’m thankful for the originality of its premises there. Sometimes these types of stories tend to blend together, but An Heir Comes to Rise stands on its own without me having to make any comparisons to other fae books. Although there were some parts that give me major King Arthur vibes. Whether that was intentional or not it’s what I took from it.
This story gives you a strong female lead character, a forbidden romance and that’s utterly swoon worthy, beautiful friendships with both male and female characters alike, and beautiful writing that pulls you in to this magical world and leaves you not wanting to leave! When you do you’re left suffering a massive hangover. XD
I’m so excited to see where the story goes from here. That ending will surely keep my brain going till I have the sequel in my hands.
