I wanted to rate this one higher. It started off so well and I was so into it. However, I couldn’t get over an ick from both characters. Luke kept calling the winery and the inn not “real jobs” and how he needed a “real job” and that just seems rude. Margot kept going on and on about their age gap and how she’s so much older when he’s 28/29 and she’s 34. 5 year age difference as an adult? Seriously? That’s what is the big concern? It took me out of the story every time, and it happened a lot.
Then ending was also so abrupt. Which I might have been able to deal with if there was an actual epilogue, but the epilogue isn’t really anything.

Graphic: Alcoholism and Racism
Minor: Car accident
