Listened to the audiobook! There is just something so fun and endearing about hearing someone tell their own story and what a story Holly Madison has to tell. Growing up during the Girl's Next Door era and seeing her transition in real life made this peep behind the curtain even more special. Holly's unapologetic way of addressing the good, bad, and ugly made for an easy read.
Okay wait I had to come back after seeing some of the reviews hahaha We witnessed the journey of someone who was desperate and made a choice of survival that led to them being in a very horrifying situation. Saying that her tone gave victim...when she WAS a victim is crazy! Also, I feel like she did a great job taking accountability for the decisions she made. In fact, I feel she let some of these people ,who were complicit in this nightmare, off too easy. She owned her story and her voice and she has nothing she needs to prove to a soul.
