This book came at exactly the right time for me. As I was reading, there were so many passages that I wanted to snapshot and remember - it’s so gently positive and uplifting. I feel like I could read this again and again. It was very enjoyable - I read it all in one sitting - and I’ve been left with a warm, happy feeling ever since. It’s like pleasant medicine. It’s a book that reminds you to be kind to yourself but also reminds you there’s a whole wold of possibilities out there. It also highlights the importance and strength in family bonds, and how much of a difference we can make to eachother, sometimes without even realising. Beautiful writing, Beautiful characters. A perfect book in my mind.
