Another great novel by Carissa Broadbent. She's such a great writer of this genre.  It's a real page turner with interesting unique characters. I really liked that the female protagonist is not a warrior type as happens in so many books in this genre. I loved that the protagonist was an intellectual! The romance was very interesting. The only reason it's not 5 stars because it ended too soon. I wish it was longer.
