A slow paced romance book posing as horror.  The characters are one dimensional.   The "fascinating" male figure is repeatedly described by his physical appearance but seems to lack any personality other than he's kind to the female propagandist.  At best,  he is a shallow mama's boy.   The female character is best deeded as poorly spoken, inarticulate, ungrateful,  superficial, and clearly not overly bright.   The horror aspect kicks in at the end of the book and, while it poses a potentially exciting tale, there simply is not enough horror to justify the slough through pages of shallow uninspired romance.
