A cosy, fall vibes romance book that took too long to really get started but was a lovely read nonetheless.
Almost till halfway I was debating on not continuing with this book, but after reading some reviews that mentioned the same thing but kept at it, I knew I had to finish.
And I am glad I did! Hazel and Tripp are adorable together (while it again took a while for me to feel their connection), I loved hanging out in Harvest Hollows, and gosh I want to visit and enjoy all the autumnal treats and markets!!!!
When side character Eli said, “but text me the details, and I’ll wear an outfit that matches your eyes”, I was ready to marry him right there, ha.
Interesting how the author connected this story to her book “Forget Me Twice”, which features Tripp’s #2 best friend Archie and his wife Meyer. Definitely going to read that one, but I was for sure thrown off at first to know nothing about them but clearly needing to.
My first book of the “Sweater Weather” series. Looking forward to the others.
I received an ARC of this book (thanks!) and these are my own opinions.
