This was a nice trip into the lives of some of our Half-moon Hollow and Jane Jameson's people. With the cover being of a guy, I thought it would be in Jamie's POV but it was told 1st person in Ophelia's POV which I'm really glad of now. Jamie is easy to understand but even listening to Ophelia's thoughts, she is harder to understand. Her snark and humor made me a convert as I have really disliked her at points in the past and wanted better for Jamie. I thought this put them together nicely though for a while there I thought maybe there would be a break up. This insight into Ophelia made me like her more and accept her relationship with Jamie. It was fun to see Ophelia have to deal with something so out of her element and how it has a positive effect on her.
There is a happening that is left in the air but it doesn't effect the storyline to be able to call it a cliffhanger. You are just wondering, "what was that about?". I guess we will see in the next book.
