This book would have been a 4⭐️ if the last 10% of the book worked better for me, that part of the book was a 3⭐️ so I’m meeting in the middle.

I loved reading this one, I was sad everytime I had to put it down and wanted to know how the story continued. The setting felt rich and the magic was intriguing all the way through. The characters weren’t the deepest or most well rounded but I liked them anyways, I liked Luzia and Santangel even if things felt rushed. I do think this would have worked better as a duology because There were SO many scenes that i felt would  have been better if they were longer and more detailed, even if I was happy with them as is. However, the ending killed this for me. It felt rushed and unexplained, I left it being genuinely confused  on what happened and how which was such a bummer for how much I loved the rest of the book.
