Pretty good, Star-Trek-like space-navy tale. Well-realized universe. Likeable characters. My only complaint is that nothing ever goes seriously wrong for this crew. Every conflict is resolved with resounding success and little if any collateral damage. As a result, the story lacks tension.

And the technology is a bit too incredibly good, but that may be more a matter of personal taste. I prefer a little more grit in my sci-fi.
