I accidentally picked this up because I'm always here for more Regency Era graphic novels. I'm guilty of judging books by their covers, but this book didn't disappoint! I didn't read the description, so I kept reading and thinking, gee this is a lot like Austen's Emma (haha). There isn't anything I didn't like about this graphic novel. I loved it! The art is beautiful, I especially loved the title chapter pages. Now I can add to my "I'm here for" list Queer Regency Era graphic novels! Thank you too, to the author/artist for including all the historical information and further reading at the end of the book. The facts about queer history are so important, especially to our youth. I am a bibliophile, so of course I love a good name drop for more reading. I know many who aren't huge fans of the storyline of the original Emma, but don't let that deter you from picking up this delightful graphic novel inspired by it! I can't wait to get this in my shop for my customers!!!
