 Why are ya'll so mad??
I came into this book with the LOWEST expectations because you all dragged this book through the mud.
The only thing I didn't like was how much Harper's character changed. Rehns character development also flew out the window but who cares about him either. Strong ass Harper is now a spineless jellyfish who apparently thinks whipping Grey and his friend is something to overlook. YEAH RIGHT. Fuck her.

ANYWAYS.
I loved Grey and Lia Mara's transition from can we even do this? To who are we? To yeah let's do this shit together in our own way. They aren't two weak characters, they just have different problems and in the end they come together through it all. Yeah lots of traveling but the last 80 pages had me gasping in shock.

The struggle between Grey's thoughts and previous loyalty and Rehn seemed so real, when a friend betrays you. And the romance was juicy. Steamy. Just enough honestly.

"I don't know which of us is more committed to honor and duty, but I was ready to rappel down the castle wall with her on my back, so I think it is not me." OOF that line got me
