Da brought Mackenzie into the world of The Keepers and she is determined to continue to be one even know she keeps breaking the rules. She finds another keeper in territory and becomes very close with him, but there is a history that is not normal and she finds her tangled up in something that threatens her life.
When I first started reading this book I was blah… I’m so happy I finished it. Wow, it was beautifully written with a lot of detail, which made the world building so much better. The character development was on point and seeing how Mackenzie handles herself in difficulty situations was amazing. I loved her tough attitude but her sensitivity side as well. A fast paced read I would recommend to anyone who loves Victoria Schwab and a little something dark and twisty. What I didn’t like was how much time she spent going on and on about Ben.
