I thought this was a great and somewhat unique storyline of a girl who is a product of cloning and being brought up as something dainty and beautiful, believing she had to make others happy and letting their happiness dictate her own, who ends up wanting her own happiness in the end.
I do read the reviews before and after I read the book and I'm not the type to listen to them. Some readers said they thought it was "instant love" between Ella and Penn. Well in the beginning it may seem as so, however, try to understand this is the first time she has seen a boy, let alone one she finds handsome, ever. Also in real life people are drawn immediately to others why should this be any different? Lastly, if you're actively reading you can see these intimate moments they share and that having a common interest and seeing someone be so passionate can definitely inflict emotions on whoever cares enough to notice. So glad I didn't listen to some of these negative reviews.
