The Perfect Life by Valerie Keogh
3.0
A very slow burn of a book that dramatically picks up the pace in the final part for a unbelievable finale.
Molly isn't a very likeable character as she is so naive and snobby. She appeared to have the perfect life (husband, job, house, children going to world-class universities) but this starts to unravel around her, after a meeting with a handsome stranger who is found dead a few days later and the police come calling as part of their investigation.
This book was a good light read but the initial slow pace, Molly's character, plot inconsistencies & the unbelievable finale just wasn't really for me. Some people may love it.
Thank you pigeonhole & Valerie for enabling be to read it though.
