The pace is faster, and lots of things happen. The mistery is still very alluring. And yet... Another child is dead. With too much gore to be cleay perceived. But still too much. I've been promised less of the thing that perturbes me in subsequent books, so... On to the next one. Next week, I think. I need pause.
