This book was and is everything to me, I will forever be in Ketterdam with the crows. I was a little dubious when first reading this because I had just finished ruin and rising and loved every second of it, I wanted more Alina and Mal and the Darkling but most of all Nikolai. However Kazzle Dazzle and the gang were everything that I have ever dreamed. Kaz is cold and calculated and never misses anything but he is just so broken and needs a hug (preferably from Inej). Anyway Inej is also just as incredibly broken and talented as Kaz, I mean have you ever seen anyone deserve each other as much as them two. Maybe apart from Nina and Matthias, they overcame their hatred and love waffles. The crows will always be some of my favourite characters. Of course I can’t forget Jesper and Wylan who’s banter kept me going on the long journey across the sea. So yeah i guess its safe to say i enjoyed this book and is one of my very few ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ reads.
