Paper Towns by John Green

3.0

I really like John Green. I’ve been making my way through his books and going through a long overdue angsty reading John Green phase, just less the teenage angst. This book was definitely not a favorite but it was enjoyable and like all Green books, easy to read. I thought the idea of the illusions that we build up of people was an interesting idea to center this book on. The book lacked some depth because it did not build beyond that. But the reader very much felt Q’s disappointment in seeing all of Margo, not just the idealized one. But still somehow make peace with her selfishness and thoughtlessness. An enjoyable read would still recommend.
