Slip of the Knife by Denise Mina

4.0

Brilliantly written, and I'm fascinated by Mina's characters as usual. For some reason, I felt less of a punch because "this time it's personal" -- less of the moral ambiguity for the greater good, and more that Paddy did what she did for the sake of her family alone. But Paddy is a great character and this is an interesting exploration of themes touched on in the first two books.
