... I'm 60% into this book and I just can't take it anymore.
Tessa is extremely unlikable. She's super immature and vain (though she does admit it) and she lovesssss male attention (almost in any form). She even mentions that she uses her flirting smile at work to get men to agree with her. Like WTF. She claims that she's a career woman, and this is how she's trying to get ahead in her career??
Also, why didn't she ask so many more questions to her boss when she was asked to delay the opening of a hotel?? For example, what exactly was her boss going to do in order to get an extra SIX HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS in two months because she went over budget?? And now she's expecting Tessa to go and fix her mistake, and Tessa just goes along with it, hosting brunch and yoga and the job site.
The thought process going through Tessas head the entire book just made me cringe.
