Little Libraries, Big Heroes by Miranda Paul, John Parra

I didn't check the page count when I requested this at the library, and was surprised to see that it is a children's book! The illustrations are adorable, and it is packed with cute info and stories.

It spends quite a bit of time chronicling the history of the very first little free library, and at the end of the book has a little tribute in memoriam of its maker, Tod Bol, who passed away while the book was nearing completion. There is also a little ribbon on one of the libraries in the book as a tribute to him (as people tied ribbons to their LFLs to remember him).

Overall a very lovely book, just keep in mind that it's quite short and mostly cute illustrations!
