The Bhagavad Gita by Simon Brodbeck, Krishna-Dwaipayana Vyasa

4.0

This epic has given me an insane amount of insight on different ways of acting (or not acting ig) in life. As a first time reader of the Gita and not much knowledge on Hindu scriptures and the general knowledge on Hinduism, I got lost here and there with all the different names that are being mentioned, how the characters are related, and some of the concepts that I had some misconceptions on and had to do some outside research on. There was quite a bit of re-reading of pages or sometimes whole discourses just because I didn't think I got what I was supposed to get out of a particular discourse. This epic looks like it is a continuous read because of the abundance of topics that it covers, and every time you read it you will get something different depending on where you are at in life.
