Be Mine Forever, by Kennedy Ryan

emotional

4.0

This story, like a lot of Kennedy Ryan's books, deals with some heavy topics. As always though, she is such a deft storyteller that everything is treated with such thought and care and our couple has a completely satisfying HEA.

If you've read the first two books in this series, and I truly believe you should before starting this one, then you'll feel like you already know both Cam and Jo. But really, you don't. We learned so much more about both our hero and heroine - the pain and trauma Cam experienced as a child; the true long time love and longing Jo had for Cam. They had such a deep friendship and though they both had moments where they emotionally hurt the other, their love for one another sustained them. I was so glad when Cam finally took that last step to work through his trauma because I knew if he didn't there was no way he could truly maintain a romantic relationship with Jo.
