This story really has a way of wrapping you up in it. I found this one to be a slower start than the first one, but still an amazing read. There are so many moments where you are just biting your nails in anticipation of what’s going to happen to Amara. Even though she has made so much progress in her situation, it still feels like one step forward, two steps back. I can’t wait to see how the series ends, but also I’m really nervous for the ending as well. I want good things for Amara, and that seems unlikely to happen given the setting.
