This book is made for me. This book is for the older sisters. The gifted kid burnouts. The archer girlies. The liability girlies. Nora Stephens is me and I'm Nora Stephens. This book came into my life the exact right time each chapter felt like it was made to fit my mood andy feeling at the moments i read them. Emily was somehow able to take the small town trope bit change it to fit 'the other woman's perspective , breaking all of the stereotypes in such a sophisticated way . The character i well aware of the trope and what character she is playing or so she thinks. This book focuses on the MC's journey to a life that she didn't think she deserved while giving us a romance plotline that is very much there but doesn't take away from the main plot. Often books aren't that way the romance plot can be a few pages long and yet it seems like that that's the plot we focus on and Emily wrote that romance plot with that issue in mind and she did successfully. This book is amazing and it means so much to me.
