Boy: Tales of Childhood by Roald Dahl

4.0

This book doesn't give you an extensive detailed childhood of Roald Dahl, if that's what you're looking for, you may be a bit disappointed. However, it shares with you many of the author's memories that were, albeit trivia, very vivid and interesting.
The author also shared some opinions that can make a few people offended, but overall the book can be read from a little kid's point of view. It will be scary for young children these days just to imagine bending over getting a cane on the buttocks. Yes, there's a lot of flogging in this book! It's the 1920s!
