The Chemist by Stephenie Meyer

Alright this book was a little bit confusing at first. It took me a little bit to get into it. I couldn't get over Alex doing the same set up each time on the run. I feel that saying in detail everytime was like yeah we got the point. However when getting past all that and seeing why the character does that you can kind of understand it. Now Alex whom is running and hiding from the government that she use to work for gets an email that changes everything.
Her old boss offers her a way out, catch this school teacher who is doing bad and get the answers and she's free. She Alex use to be somewhat of a means to an end with her job. They called her in to get information out of traders, but she used tools that no one else did.
So Alex thinks hmm, this job may be to good to be true. But she wants to stop running. So yes she takes the job, but things aren't as they seem. The school teacher Daniel isn't whom they say he is. But to uncover the truth of everything she has to work with him and his brother and some dogs. What they find is nothing but lies on every end. Alex starts to fall for Daniel and it's a risk.
When things go wrong, will Alex run? Or will she stay and help? Can they uncover everything and stay alive?
I enjoyed this book for what it is. Its nothing like her Twilight Saga or The Host. So if you are looking for something like that keep going. This was an adult suspense book. I do wish she would write another to this story.
