This book follows Scar, who made an appearance I'm book one. She is the niece of the head of the Italian Mafia. She has been abused and used by him her whole life. On the eve of the announcement of her cousins engagement to the youngest son of the head of the Irish Mafia, Caleb, she is taken by him and his 2 "brothers".

Scar is a complete badass and is underestimated by all of the men in her life. She is strong, deadly, and dis not take shit from anyone. She moonlights as Cain, a for hire assassin, and owns a security company that is a front for her illegal activity. She puts these men in their place and has them wrapped around her finger.

Niko, Caleb, and Kenji are the youngest sons of 3 of the New York families and are out for revenge on their fathers.  These three men should have never become friends, but a traumatic event in their teens have bonded them. They plan to take out the 4 New York families and take over the city. Caleb, Irish Mob, is the Alpha - controlling and poessive. Niko, Russian Bratva, is sweet and caring, but equally as deadly. Kenji, Yakuza, is ruthless, but also a bit of a golden retriever.

I absolutely loved the chemistry between these 4. The chapter names are perfect!

Tropes: Mafia, Why choose, badass FMC, forced marriage, enemies to lovers, Found family
