I really enjoy the writing of this author and the world building of this series. 

It was fun seeing a hardass asshole have to deal with a laid back kind guy. I think the story did begin to drag a bit after the big climax because there was a lot of repetition of story beats. But overall the book was nice to get through and I looked forward to the next in the series.
