I loved the first part of this book, but I think it definitely started off stronger than it continued unfortunately. I loved what the author tried to do in keeping to the original tale not the Disney version, and how the unlikeable characters were truly unlikeable for a deeper reason. However,    think too much happened for me. This was probably partly my fault but so much happened that it started to feel more surface-level and characters were getting mixed up, because aside from Sky, there were little character foundations, which made it harder for me to feel attached to them.

Might try and reread it in the future, but I'm not convinced that this needed to be a series.
