A Turn of Light by Julie E. Czerneda

2.0

Liked it at first ... I'm a sucker for a sense of place and this book sure has that. I loved how the all-too-perfect place seemed to have a mysterious side and the man coming to live there had a sense of it...but instead of getting darker and more mysterious and more interesting it got lighter and fluffier and more romantic until I totally lost all interest.
And I grew to loathe the heroine who's 18 going on 8.
Oh and I picked it up in the first place because an internet book matching site said I'd like Czerneda--I'll probably give her one more chance.
