Robin Hood the Outlaw by Alexandre Dumas

4.0

This was a beautiful rendition of Robin Hood. While I did enjoy the first volume more, but this second volume does pull at ones heartstrings as it continues the life of Robin, Marian, the ever faithful Little John & the rest of the Merrie Men. My one dislike was the chapter of Will Scarlet forcing his brothers to get married, although I might be ignorant of what the expectations of men at that point in history. I still found Dumas’ writing wonderful & Reginetta Press restoration of the text amazing.

If you’re a Robin Hood fan these books are worth your time.
