Listen....this is not the greatest book/series ever written. It's not necessarily historically accurate as other people have noted and it's essentially the same archetype characters of Gossip Girl dressed up in more elaborate clothing. But is it a great read when you're just looking for an easy, drama-filled YA read? Yep. And I was in the mood for that kind of a read so it's getting 4 stars. Just take it for what it is and enjoy!
