I want to talk about cons before I dive into my review. The pranks MK pulled on the guys felt really high schoolers. I don't know why MK could not just sit down and listen to what the guys say about what truly happened that night. MK was impulsive. She took action before her brain gave things a run and that really fucked her up sometimes. Her dad was not wrong that she was just a stupid girl. But I appreciated her character in another way. I have too many FMC with a rational mind so reading MK was really fun and outstanding experience to me. I also like how she went into denial after everything turned out to be completely different than what she thought they were. I felt it was real and sort of reflective (if I was told "sky is purple not blue" I would freak out and went into denial as well lol). Before hitting 50% mark, I was also annoyed by the guys for not being straightforward to MK. But once I learned there was a stalker and an agreement made between Archer and two gangs, I was convinced that there was a lot more happening in the background. We just did not know what they were since the story was told in MK's POV. The story ended on a cliffhanger and I could not wait to learn what the fuck was really happening.

P.S. Bree sounds a little fishy. I have a feeling that she might be the mocking stalker who made the MK barbies and took the pics, but the first stalker aka the killer is somebody else (right now I am betting on dad or Dallas)

Heat: 🔥🔥 (not saying the smut scene is not hot. book one can be counted as a slow burn because MK spent the majority of her times hating the guys. there is only one 1vs1 intimate scene in this book)
